how to enter for euward

Entry is open to all people who are active as artists and who, according to the laws of their own country, are classified as mentally disabled.

Closing date for application is May 20, 2020.

To enter, please send by mail one photographic copy each of six selected works to the address below, together with the three completed and signed application forms that are available for download here below. Only submissions including six pictures and all three forms can be considered by the jury.

Application Form (pdf-Download)

  • To enter please submit colour-reproductions (prints on photo paper) in DIN A4 format of six selected works, i.e. 21.0 x 29.7 cm. Good quality photos are important. The originals can be of any size.

  • On the “Image Directory” form, enter the key details about the works: title, technique, dimensions and orientation, the year of production and the value of the artwork. Number the photos from 1 to 6 on their reverse side, according to the list.

  •  On the “Personal Data” form, please enter the personal details of the artist, plus previous exhibitions on top, and below the details of a contact person or supporting institution, if applicable.

  • With the submission, you agree that your documents submitted remain in the euward archive. We do not return submission documents. Individual works by the submitting artists may be published within the euward archive.

  • By signing the “Consent form”, you agree to the publication of these works in the context of euward. This does not include commercial exploitation.

Following the preliminary selection procedure, a shortlist of around 20 artists will be announced on this Internet page from May 24, 2020. Entrants who are not nominated will not be separately notified or contacted personally. No reason will be given for the exclusion from the final jury.

If an artistic work is not nominated for the final jury, this does not automatically imply a negative assessment. Only a relatively small number of entries can be selected. But rejected entrants should apply again for the next euward award.
